Ames AMP Council Visits ISU Workspace
Ames AMP youth visited the Iowa State University Workspace in the Memorial Union on Thursday, August 27, 2015, to paint on vinyl records. The youth got to pick from a bunch of different records to paint and then had a choice to use paint pens or acrylic paints to decorate their record. The youth used their creative minds and found multiple different ways to use the paint pens to make their own unique designs. Thank you to the Ames Kiwanis for the grant so that we could do this activity. Additionally, the grant paid for bus passes and gas cards so that more youth can attend the Ames AMP bimonthly council meetings and activities.
