Cedar Rapids AMP - AMP | Achieving Maximum Potential

Cedar Rapids AMP

Welcome to the Cedar Rapids AMP Page!

What is AMP?

AMP meetings are a time for youth to gain valuable life skills for healthy transitions into adulthood, learn about local resources, and socialize while in a supportive and well-supervised environment of youth with similar experiences. AMP is a statewide network of youth councils made up of youth aged 13-23 who support and advocate for themselves and other youth who are currently or who have ever been in an out of home placement (foster, adoptive, kinship, shelter, residential or group care).

Cedar Rapids AMP Council meets at The First Church of the Open Bible (1911 E. Ave. NW Cedar Rapids, IA) on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please contact the facilitator for the most updated information!
