Welcome to the New AMP Marshalltown council!

What is AMP?
AMP meetings are a time for youth to gain valuable life skills for healthy transitions into adulthood, learn about local resources, and socialize while in a supportive and well-supervised environment of youth with similar experiences. AMP is a statewide network of youth councils made up of youth aged 13-23 who support and advocate for themselves and other youth who are currently or who have ever been in an out of home placement (foster, adoptive, kinship, shelter, residential or group care).
We have council meetings every first and third Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the YSS of Marshall County office located at 22 N. Center St. Marshalltown, Iowa. All AMP youth are encouraged to attend.
