Meet Our Facilitator


Holly Dommer is the Amp Facilitator for the new Ottumwa Group.    Holly was born and raised in Ottumwa Iowa.  She attended Central College in Pella where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. 

Holly has worked for American Home Finding for 16 years.  She started as the Director of their Child Care Center which served mainly teenage youth and their children.  For the last seven years Holly has served as the Aftercare Advocate for ten counties in southern Iowa.  Her passion is to help youth jump the hurdles life has given them and become self sufficient.

Holly has twin boys, who will be freshman in college this fall. 

 

Joe Schulz

 

Joe is a native of Ottumwa and has there all of his 48 years.  Joe has owned a full time photography business for over 20 years where he has become versed in business and marketing.  He has engaged in a number of volunteer opportunities within the community including Babe Ruth Baseball where he helped to start a non-profit organization, SBBF, dedicated to raising funds for different baseball entities.  Joe has also worked with American Home Finding Association with summer feeding, fundraising, and AMP (Achieving Maximum Potential).  He has experience in collaboration and has shown success in bringing different organizations together.  Currently Joe is the director of Growing Wapello Together, a local food based consortium dedicated to bringing many social services together for the betterment of the community. 
 

Joe has worked with AMP for almost 3 years now and truly enjoys the satisfaction of working with youth.  He has helped with AMP Camp, the Plugged in and Charging conference, as well as monthly AMP meetings.
