Register to participate in Reggie’s Sleepout-Des Moines, where you (and 1,000 of your closest friends) will sleep under the stars on the football field at Drake Stadium at Drake University. The event supports organizations working to address youth homelessness in our community:
You can participate as an individual, or get a team together. Ask family, friends and neighbors to donate to the cause. Then, bring a box, small tent (no stakes) and/or sleeping bag to Drake Stadium to set up camp for the night. There will be entertainment, activities, music, games and of course, the Boxed-In Design Contest.
Food and drinks will be served. (Outside food, snacks, gum and beverages will not be allowed. Exceptions: Those with food allergies or special meal requirements can bring their food and snacks, which will be stored in the event’s food tent.)
Reggie’s Sleepout raises much-needed funds and awareness to support child and youth homelessness in our community.
