AMP youth are driven by the motto "Nothing about us, without us!"
AMP is a state-wide network of youth councils made up of youth aged 13-20who support and advocate for themselves and other youth who are currently or who have ever been in an out-of-home placement (foster, kinship, adoptive, shelter, residential, detention).
AMP meetings are a time for youth to gain valuable life skills for healthy transitions into adulthood, learn about local resources, and socialize while in a supportive environment of youth with similar experiences.
Not sure if AMP is for you??? Join us for our next meeting to find out- we are always looking for new faces and new energy!
