Changes in Iowa's Child Welfare system effective July 1, 2017

Iowa’s child welfare system of care is child and family driven providing a cross-system spectrum of effective, community-based services, supports, policies, and processes for children and youth, from birth through young adulthood. To best meet the needs of individuals served through this system of care and the dedicated professionals responsible for system of care service delivery and best possible outcomes, Iowa’s system of care will be improved though the implementation of new service contracts that go into effect starting July 1, 2017.
